SABIS® Facilities Management - The Public Private Partnership Project schools offers an opportunity to be part of an exciting and challenging educational project that was launched by the Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC).
The Public-Private Partnership is an education reform initiative that plans to raise the quality of public education in the United Arab Emirates. While SABIS® Facilities Management was contracted to manage 6 public schools in 2006, today it manages over 30 schools.
Positions commencing immediately or in the course or academic year 2010 - 2011:
1- ESL Teacher Advisor:
To be the ideal candidate for this post you should have ESL teaching experience in addition to excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. You should be able to motivate and inspire and work as a member of a team. Computer literacy is also strongly desired.
The main responsibilities of this position include supporting and training the teachers in achieving the required proficiency in the English language to enable them to teach the set curriculum in its transitory and full implementation phases within a specified school, in English
2- Teacher Advisor:
To be the ideal candidate for this post you should have numerous years of teaching experience as well as experience in training and guiding teachers. You should have excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. You should be able to motivate and inspire and work as a member of a team. Computer literacy is also strongly desired.
The main responsibilities of this position include supporting teachers in planning and preparing lessons, demonstrating and guiding teachers in the best teaching practices, classroom management skills and lesson delivery in addition to evaluating, assessing and reporting teachers’ performance and keeping teachers aware of any updates or changes to the curriculum. Improving teachers’ ESL skills is also an essential function.
