Shandong Electric Power International School (SEPIS) is a warm community, located in Tai an City, a medium sized tourist city in Shandong Province,eastern China. Taian City is the home of the world cultural heritage Mount Tai , which has been listed as the World Geological Park by UNESCO. Taian City , being a tourist city , attracts a lot of tourists from home and abroad all year round. Taian city is also a cultural city which is near the birthplace of Confucius, the ancient great thinker and educator and the original place of Confucianism. The location of our city is about 6 hours south of Beijing by train and about 1 hour south of Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. From this location, you can travel to many of China’s beautiful scenic places for sightseeing. As for city transportation, There are lots of buses running through the scenic spots , large shopping malls, parks, recreational centers and hospitals. It is quite convenient for teachers to work and live in our city. SEPIS has 8 native English teachers and 1 Korean teachers right now and all the staff is very friendly and dedicated to making the life of foreign teachers as pleasant as possible. In recent years, SEPIS has experienced a rapid development and more and more students of joint programs with other countries have been recruited. At present, we are looking for 10 full time native English teachers and two Korean teachers for one-year contract starting from September,2010 We are looking for enthusiastic native English speakers (from U.S.A, Canada, Britain , Australia and New Zealand) who have: ** A recognized RSA/TESOL/CELTA certificate and Bachelor degree. ** Neutral accent. ** At least one year teaching experience. Teachers will have average 20 contact hours per week. Salary : Starting from RMB 6,000+ per month depending on applicants’ qualification and experience. **Reimbursement to the round-trip airfare no more than RMB 9,000 upon the completion of one-year contract. ** A furnished apartment with bedroom, living room, and private bathroom is provided free of charge. Each apartment has central heating, air-conditioning, and Cabled TV system .A fully equipped communal kitchen (microwave stove, and refrigerator), shared dining room, and washing machines are available for use by the foreign teachers. **Each foreign teacher will be assigned an office workspace with a computer and free Internet access. **Assistance with Working Permit Document for teachers to apply for his/her Work Visa in his or her origin country embassy and school will pay all the costs for dealing with the working visa. ** Critical illness and accidental injury insurance for all teachers will be provided by school. ** 4 weeks paid vacation.
