SESC is committed to recruiting teachers who are dedicated to teaching and experiencing a life totally different from the one they have now. We make every effort to meet the high standards demanded by our customers. 80% of our students are young learners, in addition to which we also teach teenagers, parents, professionals and university students. We also provide high levels of support to our staff, with all teachers (who are all native speakers) receiving academic support from on-site managers, allowing teachers to develop professionally.

COURSES: SESC provides tailored courses for every age group varying in difficulty according to the students’ needs.
RESOURCES: In addition to the texts, teacher’s books, and necessary materials, (flashcards, realia) available for all courses taught. The Teacher’s Offices also provide free internet access as well as source materials for supplementary games and worksheets.
SCHEDULES: The average schedule consists of 18-22 contact hours per week, spread over 5 days with 2 days off. Split shifts are avoided wherever possible.
TRAINING AND INDUCTION: All teachers attend a week of training which focuses on areas such as classroom management, reading and writing, communicative activities and lesson planning.
SUPPORT: Teachers will always have a senior member of staff with whom they can discuss any aspects of their work. Also, each school has a full time welfare officer who provides invaluable assistance with living in China.
ACCOMMODATION: Varies in price depending on city, location, and whether the apartment is shared or not.
WORKING VISA: SESC sponsors all teachers for their visas and covers all associated costs upon arrival in China.
QUALIFICATIONS:

-Are native English speakers from the UK, Ireland, Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia or the Republic of South Africa
-Native English Speaker
-Have a recognized EFL qualification
-Have a university degree
-Are versatile, looking for a challenge, enjoy working with young learners and on their own initiative
COMPENSATION:
- Between 6,600-8750rmb per month depending on city, experience, and qualifications.
- Any hours taught above the guaranteed minimum, (of 72 per month) are paid additionally at an hourly rate.
- Extra payments of 8500rmb throughout the year
- 22 paid days holiday reimbursement
