We provide remote staffing services to U.S. companies in the insurance industry. Our sales, marketing and client integration are handled from our New York office. Our employees in China are university graduates who possess intermediate to advanced oral and written English language skills. Job Description: We seek to add an enthusiastic, experienced English Instructor to our existing Corporate University English Program. The instructor will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering coursework and providing learning solutions that align with and support company goals. The appointment may be made at the Specialist or Senior Specialist level, depending upon the candidate’s skills and experience. The position is full time with a one-year contract. The instructor will have the following key responsibilities: - Teach 6-10 classroom hours per week - Assist in curriculum development and improvement - Conduct individual and small group tutorials - Assess employees’ English abilities - Edit documents and emails Minimum Requirements: - Native English Speaker - College degree - TEFL certification or equivalent education and experience - 2 or more years experience teaching ESL to adults We are also looking for a person with the following characteristics - Demonstrates effective facilitation techniques for adults - Experience living and working in international cultures - Experience assessing people’s English abilities - Experience in course design preferred - Business English writing and editing experience We offer a competitive package that includes: - 10-15,000 rmb a month - Housing allowance - 15 days paid vacation in addition to Chinese holidays - RT airfare - Lunch allowance - Transportation allowance - Visa and work permit About Qingdao Qingdao, China, is a port city located in Shandong Province on the coast of the Yellow Sea.
