Teach Reading Skills in Singapore: August Starts!

I Can Read is a large literacy-based learning organisation with centres in seven countries. We are currently seeking appropriately qualified and experienced teachers to fill vacancies in our Singapore centres. At the moment we have a number of vacancies commencing in July and August 2010.
-We will consider applications from Degree-qualified teachers from the following nations/regions,
1) Australia
2) New Zealand
3) The United Kingdom and British Isles
4) Canada
5) Ireland
6) South Africa
-Preference will be given to those who hold a Degree in Teaching/Education/Early Childhood Studies. However this is not essential.
-All applicants MUST be native speakers of English (i.e. must have completed their primary, secondary and tertiary education in one of the above-mentioned countries).
-All applicants MUST have a clear and universally understandable accent.
-Successful applicants will sign a two-year contract to work in one of our centres in Singapore.
-The Singapore positions have a salary of SGD4500/month (SGD4000 during probation).
-Substantial end-of-contract bonus as well as airfare reimbursement at the end of the contract.
-The position involves teaching reading, writing and comprehension skills to children using the specially-developed “I Can Read“ system.
-Please note that this is NOT an E.S.L. or general teaching position.
-It is ESSENTIAL that all applicants are prepared to work with students between the ages of 3.5 and 12 years.
-Teachers will be required to work weekends and evenings and will have two consecutive weekdays off.
-We provide comprehensive training, airport pickup and initial hotel accommodation, assistance in finding an apartment, full visa support and ongoing professional development to all successful applicants.
