Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of documented professional teaching experience with young children. Additional experience with teaching English as a second language is preferred,
- Native English speaker with strong communication skills
- An advantage to those who can legally work in China, with accredited teaching credentials, holding an English as a second language teaching certification, and/or who speak Mandarin Chinese.
- An understanding of the Chinese language and culture is an asset
Job Description:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool children that encourages their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development,
- Plan and implement a developmentally- and age- appropriate curriculum, following the school’s teaching philosophy, policies, system, and program,
- Create documentation and complete assessments of children’s overall development and English language skills,
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, children, and co-workers,
- Assist in in-house English language training, internal research, and marketing events.
Highly correlated with previous experience, background, etc. (Other terms negotiable upon meeting - e.g. housing, visa, insurance, etc.)
