Sang Myung University Qualifications - Native speaker of English (Currently residing in Korea preferred) - BA or MA (English major or TESOL/TEFL/TESL qualified preferred) - College student teaching experience STRONGLY preferred - Be culturally sensitive and flexible - Demo Lesson will be required. Required documents - A resume with the applicant’s recent photo - A cover letter (as a letter of self-introduction) - Copies of diploma(s), Certificate(s) and transcripts (undergraduate and graduate courses) - A copy of a passport (Picture page) and the foreigner’s registration card (if available) - References (Please include telephone numbers and e-mail addresses of your supervisors) - Two copies transcripts (sealed) - Criminal Record (For applicants who pass the interview) Job Description - Starting Date: March 17, 2010 - Location: Sangmyung University in Cheonan ( one hour from Seoul by bus and 1st line subway) - Monthly Salary: 2.5 million won - Housing: A fully-furnished studio- type flat - Medical Insurance: Accident insurance Students: University students - Teaching: Conversational English and Writing - Class size: 12~20 (depending on the class) Working hours - 9am to 6pm - 4~7 hours per day and 30 hours per week (Monday through Friday) - Contract period: 3 months and can be renewed upon agreement. - Vacation: A week¡¯s paid vacation - Airfare: Free round-trip air tickets for a visa run when necessary
