About the program: “Teach and Learn with Georgia” (TLG) is a progressive
education movement initiated by the Georgian government in 2010 that
recruits native English speakers to teach English in Georgian public schools.
The program aims to improve Georgia’s nationwide English language
proficiency in an effort towards further globalization.
Position:
• Volunteer-teacher of English as a foreign language

Ⅲ. Job Description for PYP homeroom teacher
1. Provide group class instruction to Chinese students in the primary school.
2. Teach English and UOI in Primary Years Program （science, math and social studies）.
3. Have a specialized knowledge teaching English to second language learners and research to develop knowledge further.
4. Understand and adhere to the curriculum, policies and procedures of the school.
5. Demonstrate professionalism: in dress, in manner and staff relationships in the school environment.
6. Follow the guidance, direction and leadership of the head of curriculum as required.
7. Prepare lesson plans according to the school requirements, have flexible and diverse teaching methods, and can efficiently complete the teaching tasks.
