This year, as we are anticipating a larger number of students, we are willing to start teachers at OMR 600 per month with benefits. This salary scale is tentative based on what I have witnessed, not exactly approved.
Subject Teachers who are IELTS 7.0 or higher (not from the preferred nationalities) are started at OMR 400 per month.
What date do teachers get paid each month?
Teachers are paid on or before the fifth of each month.
Is accommodation paid for or an allowance given and is it also provided for a family?
All Single teachers: Both male and female are given a shared flat with the same gender. These single teachers are given their own room and bathroom, but must share the kitchen, appliances, and sitting room furnishings.
Family (Teaching Couples/Married Couples): Provided with a furnished family accommodation 2-3 bedroom apartments.
Is the accommodation furnished including bedding etc?
All apartments and rooms are given starter linens in the bathroom and bedroom. For each candidate they will receive one set of towels, bed sheets, pillowcases, pillows and cotton throws. All other linens must be provided by the employee. All basic starter silverware, pots, pans and dishware for each candidate. Also a welcome fruit basket and other delicacies samples to welcome you to Oman.
Are utility bills included?
All internet, electricity and water are paid for the Single Teachers’ accommodations. For family accommodations-only water and basic internet are provided. Families must pay for Electricity.
Do you provide a relocation allowance or pay for extra baggage allowance?
This is negotiable. This is entirely up to the owner.

2 children are free of charge (including uniform, books, and tuition.) Additional Children are given at least 50% off the full fee amount. Bilingual Education is provided from grades K-10 this year. Grades 11 and 12 learn only English during English Class. All other subjects are in Arabic.
