EFL Summer School Teacher

Details: WSE Juniors is the young learners wing of Wimbledon School of English. WSE Juniors deliver high-quality, residential summer language courses to students aged 12-17 years old from around the world. In 2023, WSE Juniors will be holding summer centres in two locations: at our main-school site in Wimbledon, South-West London, and in the spacious, modern grounds of Lord Wandsworth College, Hampshire.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable people to join us at WSE Juniors at Lord Wandsworth College, where we host residential students aged 12 to 17. Lord Wandsworth College is located in lovely grounds in a beautiful part of the countryside on the Surrey/Hampshire border. It has excellent sports, classroom and dining facilities, and modern boarding houses. The small town of Hook is only 15 minutes away by road and Basingstoke is 25 minutes away. We are also looking for teachers to be based at our Wimbledon main school campus which is based in the heart of Wimbledon.
The course at Lord Wandsworth College will run from 9 July to 5 August, however teachers will need to be available from Saturday 8 July if starting in the first week of the course. The course at Wimbledon will run from 25 June to 13 August.
The Role
Teachers at WSE Juniors Summer Centres take an active role in the life of the school. Candidates should be highly motivated, professional, innovative, and CELTA or CertTESOL qualified. Applicants should have experience in teaching all levels from pre-intermediate to advanced, an interest in working with children and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the summer centre, including social activities and excursions. We are a strong advocate of continuous professional development and employment will include weekly developmental workshops. As you will be working with minors, you will be required to provide outstanding pastoral care and work in accordance with the WSE Juniors policy on Safeguarding Young People & Child Protection.

Ⅲ. Job Description for HS A-Level Psychology Teacher
- Plan and teach lessons following A-level, AP or school-designed curricula that differentiate for individual student needs
- Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching styles.
- Plan with colleagues to deliver effective team teaching when possible.
- Develop assessment tasks following the guidelines and use a wide range of formative assessment tools.
- Supervise extended essays.
- Attend regular curriculum planning and student progress meetings.
- Work closely with the Coordinator to develop concurrency of learning across the senior high.
- Demonstrate a genuine, active interest in on-going professional development, including through participation in professional learning groups in the school, and contribute to Professional Development Programme by sharing recent research or teaching experience.
- Keep up-to-date records of attendance, curriculum, assessment tasks and assessment data.
- Prepare student reports and references, and other reports as required.
- Keep parents informed about student progress.

Ⅲ. Job Description for HS Computer teacher
- Teach AP, A-Level, OSSD or other assigned computer courses.
- Other work as assigned by the Teaching and Research Group.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
ⅰ. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Education or the applied teaching position related.
