Details: HELLO ENGLISH! brings a holistic approach to English learning to the classroom, enabling cultural exchange. In this environment, language comes alive and can be learned in a playful way. Finding that English is fun while also incorporating teaching methods such as CLIL, task-based learning and communicative language teaching creates a holistic approach to teaching English.
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) from HELLO ENGLISH! is not only foreign language teaching, but also teaching subjects such as history, physical education, geography, biology and technology.
The young and enthusiastic English teachers at HELLO ENGLISH! are motivated to provide their students with a fun, memorable and rewarding learning experience. They enable learners to develop independent learning processes that are tailored to their individual interests. Since practical application is an irreplaceable factor in learning a foreign language, the main focus is on speaking and listening.
The HELLO ENGLISH! Workshops include role-plays, songs, self-developed academically valuable games and sports from English-speaking countries. By working in small teams, we strengthen cohesion and celebrate success stories together. Solution-oriented learning and action-oriented teaching promote the acquisition of social skills as well as self-organization and self-responsibility.
We stand for fairness and equality in education. Based on strict ethical standards, the initiative aims to provide language support for everyone and thus reach every school in Austria with an English project.
HELLO ENGLISH! currently teaches at more than 300 partner schools. In order to promote English as a language of instruction in a sustainable and interdisciplinary manner, HELLO ENGLISH! training courses to further increase the quality of English teaching in Austrian schools.
Our native speakers are carefully trained, among other things, in the award-winning Global English Teaching Academy to work with all language levels and age groups, especially in the Austrian education system. The Academy works with the highest international standards of Trinity College London and is particularly geared to the Austrian curriculum, the requirements for project work and the child-friendly education of Austrian schools in order to provide them with optimal support.
