La Oficina Técnica Provincial was assigned and designed as a space where all planning concerning the province Hermanas Mirabal mainly takes place, with the contribution of main important foundations, local authorities, and with the support of the Ministry of Education. The intention is to develop quality educational experiences between a government and non-government alliance (co-management), one for primary education at the Escuela Hermanas Mirabal de Ojo de Agua, with 350 students, and another for secondary education at the Liceo Cientifico Dr. Miguel Canela Lazaro with 550 students. In both cases, they are free public educational centers, in which we are applying the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), in a framework of inclusion and multiculturalism. To continue promoting these initiatives of quality education for low-income students, we are looking for educators and international professionals who have graduated from universities, who are encouraged by a social commitment and want to support us for a year or more to strengthen experiences. We can offer housing, and a monthly collaboration of about 800 dollars.
