Salaries in China for Private Lessons Can anyone out there tell me what I can reasonably charge for private lessons on an hourly basis in China?

Be very careful. If you want to teach private lessons in China you need the appropriate visa. If you are caught teaching private lessons - the fine is substantial, and you can lose your regular visa. The government in some provinces is now offering rewards to Chinese who dob in a foreigner teaching or working illegally.
