The Role
Razum International School Singapore is recruiting for 5 Lead Teachers.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with international school and IPC teaching experience as well as a proven track record and experience in school leadership.
The Context
Razum International School Singapore (RISS) is newly formed international school in Singapore, serving the international school community. We are proud to provide quality, affordable education to international students. We provide a four hour teaching day from 9am-1pm and hold this as a point of difference that we are proud of. We provide a focused and creative learning environment that specifically grows student understanding in mathematics, literacy, humanities, and science whilst embracing art, music, dance and drama as important tools in which to explore thinking and learning. By being intentional in our programme, students finish at 1pm, allowing them the time needed for external coaches, training, and programmes, that have otherwise not been accommodated for in extended school days.

Qualifications:
- New university graduates with some internship experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- One to two years of classroom or teaching-related experience preferred.
- At least a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Teaching, Education, Early Childhood Studies, English, English Literature or Linguistics.
- English as a first language with a universally recognisable accent, and a strong command of both written and spoken English.
- An enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to operate with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Due to the work pass regulations in Singapore, we need you to indicate your year of birth in your application.
Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive monthly salary reflective of Singapore cost of living.
- A two-year contract with completion bonus.
- Five day work-week with two rest days.
- 15 days per of annual leave per year with additional 1 day per year to a maximum of 20 days.
