Details: The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team of educators. ISPP is a fully authorised PYP school, and our lower elementary team has a strong commitment to the rights of the child, the voice of the child and the role that teachers, parents and the environment have to play in the developmental growth of children. We seek a candidate who has a proven background in EAL teaching and co-teaching, and who is a skilled practitioner in creating meaningful, relevant and measurable learning within this context. A spirit of collaboration, stamina, drive, a sense of humour, a passion for children, a positive disposition and a love of professional learning are all key ingredients for an ISSP teacher. The role of a lower elementary EAL teacher is to work with the homeroom team across the curriculum, while supporting students in their acquisition of English. The successful candidate should be an experienced EAL practitioner and preferably have experience of working in an IB PYP school.
