Details: Head of Elementary / PYP Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the IBPYP curriculum and ensure that it is aligned with the school’s mission and vision
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the primary school, including scheduling, budgeting, and staffing
- Provide instructional leadership to teachers and support staff, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure that the primary school is integrated into the broader school community
- Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders to keep them informed about the school’s progress and initiatives
- Ensure that the school is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IBPYP teacher or administrator
- A valid teaching certification
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
