Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Salary: ¥25,000 CNY
Details: IEUSA is a very successful and thriving International School located in Shanghai, China.
Currently we have the following teaching positions for American Literature ,
Composition/Drama, Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Economics.
Salary range is 21,000-25,000RMB monthly(housing allowance included), paid visas ,
medical check’s, paid holidays, and travel allowance, teaching hours 15-20 hours per
week, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, extracurricular activities are strongly
encouraged, class size 15-25. You would need to have Bachelor Degree in relevant field,
Degree in Education, USA Teacher License, AP trained in Calculus preferred.
Must speak English and be computer literate. QTS, PGCE, TESOL, CELTA, also
desirable plus Training in PBL or AP, is an advantage.

Post responsibilities are:
1. Planning lessons using US academic content standards.
2. Teaching students according to their educational needs.
3. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and academic
attainment of students.
4. Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, and school reports and
references for individual students and groups of students.
5. Ensuring the general progress and well-being of individual students and of any class
or group of students assigned to her/him.
6. Advising and co-operating with the Principal , Academic Dean and other teachers on
the preparation and development of courses of study, teaching materials, designing
problems or projects using PBL.
7. Supervising, and so far as practicable teaching, any students whose teacher is not
available to teach them.
8. Participating in arrangements for preparing students for public examinations and in
assessing students for the purpose of such examinations.
Systems:
1. Keeping records of the achievement and progress of students.
2. Keeping records of, and profiles on, the personal and social needs of students.
3. Participating in all staff meetings and PBL trainings.
Personnel:
1. Providing guidance to students on educational and social matters, including
American university preparation and career interests.
2. Maintaining good order and discipline among the students to safe guard their health
and safety both when they are authorized to be on the Academy premises and when they
are engaged in authorized activities elsewhere.
Review and Evaluation:
1. Participating in any arrangements within an agreed framework for the appraisal of
her/his performance and that of other teachers.
2. Reviewing from time to time her/his methods of teaching and programmes of work.
3. Participating in arrangements for her/his further training and professional
development as a teacher.
