Details: We are currently looking for qualified applicants for a Full-time ESL teacher in Fukui city, Japan. The position starts from September 2008. If you are interested in the position , please read the details below. We look forward to hearing from you!
Terms of Employment
1. Position: Full-time English Teacher
2. Contract: One-year renewable contract
3. 5 days a week with two consecutive days off(Sundays/Mondays off)
4. Working hours: From 1:00PM to 10:00PM including one hour lunch break
5. Salary: Start from 250,000yen a month
5. Working place: Fukui city
Benefits
1. Visa sponsorship is available.
2. 7 to 9 days off during New year’s holiday and Golden week holiday(Around the end of April)
3. Have all Japanese National Holidays off.
4. 14 extra paid holidays
5. One year contract completion bonus: 100,000 yen.
6. Rent: Approximately 40,000 yen plus utilities.
7. We will pay key money, deposits, and real estate fees for the apartment.
Requirements
1. Native speaker of English
2. 4-year college/university degree
3. Minimum of 2 year of consistent ESL teaching experience.
4. Qualified with TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification. CELTA is preferred.
5. Able to overcome any cultural barriers

Ⅱ. Positions Available
Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
