Details: Ambition racing is looking for 3 tutors to work with top British Skiing Athletes during the 2007/2008-winter season at their Academic base in Bormio, Italy.
Ambition schooling works hand-in-hand alongside our full sports program for 5 afternoons per week, covering the core subjects of English, Maths and Science.
Tutors are required for the following dates:
8th-15th December- English/Maths Teacher (1 needed)
2nd-9th Febuary- English/Maths/Science Teacher (3 needed)
15th-22nd March- English/Maths Teacher (1 needed)
22nd-29th March- English/Maths Teacher (2 needed)
Duties Include:
1. Organisation, implementation and tutoring of education at the base:
· Planning & carrying out of lessons, 5 days per week for 3-4 hours each afternoon.
· Assisting in work sent home.
· Assisting in co-ordination with schools at home to make sure communication is smooth between the two.
· Organize, implement and carry out a weekly programme, working with other tutors to get equal balance between core subjects.
· Interact with athlete and athletes parent/guardian on athletes progress
· Practise due care & diligence when in charge of children & junior athletes in your care.
· Care & maintenance of any training materials and equipment
· Care & maintenance of equipment supplied from sponsors
· Tutors may be, on occasion asked to fly out with athletes from the UK.
· N.B all tutors must be have a valid and up-to-date CRB check.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
