Details: Have knowledge and understanding of:
• What constitutes quality in educational provision, the characteristics of effective schools, and strategies for raising pupils’ achievement.
• How to promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and good behaviour through effective management and leadership.
• How to seek and use national, local and school data, Ofsted evidence and research findings in professional and school development.
• Governance at national, local and school levels.
Planning and setting expectations:
• Lead and manage the creation and implementation of a strategic plan, underpinned by sound resource planning and which identifies priorities and targets for ensuring that pupils achieve high standards and make progress, increasing teachers’ effectiveness and securing school improvement.
• Plan for effective monitoring, evaluating and reviewing of the plan to secure progress and school improvement.
• Think creatively and imaginatively to anticipate and solve problems and identify opportunities.
Teaching and planning pupil learning:
• Create and maintain a climate and code of conduct which promote and secure good teaching, effective learning, high standards of achievement, good behaviour and discipline throughout the school and which enable teachers to meet the standards set out in this framework.
• Determine, organise and implement the curriculum and its assessment; monitor and evaluate them in order to identify and act on areas for improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and standards of learning and achievement of pupils, including those with special educational or linguistic needs, in order to set and meet challenging, realistic targets for improvement.
• Create and promote positive strategies for developing good race relations and dealing with racial harassment.
• Ensure that improvements in literacy, numeracy and information and communications technology are priority targets for all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs.
• Ensure that pupils develop study skills in order to learn more effectively and with increasing independence.
Managing and developing staff and other adults:
• Implement and sustain effective systems for the management of staff performance, incorporating appraisal and targets for teachers, including targets for teachers, including targets relating to pupils achievement.
• Motivate and enable all staff in their school duties.

Ⅱ. Positions Available
Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
