Details: The Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies is seeking qualified applicants for teaching English as a foreign language to Yemeni students. Teaching hours are between four to six hours a day, with additional hours for class preparation and grading homework. The English institute has a set curriculum which new teachers will be orientated and follow in classrooms.
Teaching positions will be considered either full-time teachers or work-study. Applicants should indicate in their interest in employment. Full-time teachers will be paid a full monthly salary, and work-study teachers will be compensated with housing, Arabic lessons, opportunities to use YCMES’ cultural activities and trips, and a monthly salary.
Compensation is commensurate upon qualifications, experience, and number of teaching hours. International relocation/travel is not covered. Length of contract will be a minimum of one (1) year.

Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
