Details: ABOUT THIS JOB – Saint Paul Preparatory Academy—Looking for Certified Social Science/History and ESL/Spanish/Art/Music, preferably from the United States, to work in a privately funded international mid/high school program.

JOB SCHEDULE - One year contract with renewal options. 40 working hours per week that includes prep, teaching and lunch break - Monday to Friday, all Saturdays and Sundays off - Working Schedule: 8:00am to 4:00pm.
JOB DUTIES
Lesson preparation and record keeping of student progress reports and evaluations, correcting student assignments and grading student work, attending staff meetings, and participation in teacher training workshops. All staff meetings and workshops take place during normal working hours, you are not asked to come in early, or stay late!
JOB PAYMENT
Monthly salary starts from 2.2 million won to 3.0 million won depending on qualifications. Overtime opportunities are provided at an hourly rate of 20,000 won. Approximately six weeks paid vacation (split winter and summer) plus all national holidays. Prepaid roundtrip airfare provided. An electronic ticket will be sent to the teacher before departure. One-month severance paid after successful completion of contract. Unused sick day bonus of 400,000 won.
MEDICAL INSURANCE, PENSION, TAX
Korean National Health Insurance and National Pension coverage, 50% is paid by the employer, 50% by the employee. Income and residence taxes are deducted according to Korean Tax Law approximately 2.3% of salary depending on salary level. Monthly deductions are itemized on payroll receipts.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation provided: large one or two room studio apartment in villa style building for singles, 10-15 minutes’ walk to work. Fully furnished apartments include: bed/sheets/pillow/comforter, desk, chair, kitchen table, kitchen equipment, refrigerator, gas range, microwave, washing machine, telephone, TV, internet access, window blinds and more. Larger apartments are provided to couples. All utilities are paid by the teacher. Initial kitchen and bath amenities for the first week will be provided. We will also buy some groceries for your first week so you don’t have to worry about shopping! Housing allowance option is also possible, 600,000 won per month, non-taxable income.
ABOUT YANGJAE
Yangjae is an upscale community of the Seocho-gu area of Seoul. This district is adjacent to Gangnam-gu and is very close to the popular Gangnam and Apgujeong subway stops. Close to the school facility and residential facilities are public parks, river-walk recreational areas, sports facilities, shopping districts (including a large E-Mart and Costco), and much much more. This district of Seoul is also located within the city’s “Green Belt,” which offers a more pleasing living atmosphere.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
