Native English speakers urgently required to work at a campsite run by our English Language Center. We offer: a salary of USD700 per month (minimum), plus! free accommodation at the campsite plus! all meals free at the campsite plus! as a bonus, on completion of your contract we will take you on a five day, four night tour of beautiful scenic Mongolia.
We are an English Language Institute in Mongolia, founded in 2005. We offer 7 levels of ESOL classes (from beginners to advanced), as well as preparation courses for the TOEFL Test. In addition, we teach English on contract to various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
In March 2009 we initiated an English language training project under the auspices of the Mongolian Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture. Over one thousand Mongolian high school English language teachers, from all over Mongolia, have been accepted for the project, divided into four groups. Each group consists of 250 participants who live and study (and have fun!) at a campsite set in beautiful countryside 80 km north of the Mongolian capital Ulaan Baatar.
The first and second groups ran from 16 March to 06 April and from 06 April to 27 April. The third group began on 27 April and is due to finish on 18 May, and the fourth group is due to run from 18 May to 08 June.
Once this project has been completed there will be further courses at the same campsite, teaching English to Mongolian high school students, until 01 September. There will also be opportunities for teachers to extend their contracts to work as full-time teachers of English at our main training center in Ulaan Baatar.
We have an ongoing need for at least 10 Native English Speaking Teachers, who we cannot recruit inside Mongolia. We will cover all living expenses during their stay at the training camp and also pay a monthly salary of USD700 (minimum: teachers with ESOL qualifications and experience can expect more), and free accommodation in twin rooms plus free full board at the campsite.
The main duties of teachers during the project at the campsite are:
1. to teach spoken English to the participants, in order to improve their comprehension, fluency, and confidence,
2. to familiarize the participants with techniques for teaching communicative English,
3. to participate in (and supervise) leisure activities during training, including fun and team-building games.
Teaching hours are Monday to Friday, 25 to 30 hours per week contact time. Weekends are free, but sometimes all the participants and teaching staff will take part in fun activities such as playing basketball, soccer and sumo wrestling competitions, and Outward Bound type adventure team-building activities. We want everyone to enjoy themselves!

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;

5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
