Details: The ISR (Internationale Schule Regensburg) started in September 2008 in it’s facilities nearby the beautiful and historic city of Regensburg in Bavaria - Germany. The uniqueness of this institute is that it is a bilingual school which provides high quality, challenging and international focussed education. Being authorized as a governmental approved substitute school for Grades 1 - 12, the ISR will implement the IB programmes and align the IB Curriculum with the Bavarian Educational Standards as well as the Waldorf/Steiner approach. Thereby ensuring that students are able to graduate with the German Abitur (equivalent to A-Levels) or the Internationale Baccalaureate.
There are 95 students from Grade 1 - 8 in the school right now, with plans to expand. More than half of them have an international background.
Salaries will be between 30 and 40K (Euro’s) per annum depending on qualification and experience, the tax rate is about 1 third, but this can be partially claimed back at the end of the financial year. They help with relocation as well as finding furnished apartments in Bavaria.
The school is looking for Waldorf trained/experienced class teachers (Grades 1 - 8) as well as Waldorf subject teachers and PYP experienced teachers of the following:
Sports and Outdoor Activities
Music (Instruments, Choir and Orchestra)
Arts, Crafts and Gardening
Science and ICT/IT

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus
4. Annual performance bonus (if applicable)
5. Reimbursement for annual round trip flights
