Sharda University’s seeks to employ qualified Foreign and Indian Faculty in its various programs in Electrical Engineering and allied disciplines. All applicants should have an earned PhD or Master degree in a relative area and extensive teaching experience in an accredited and recognized university/college. They are also expected to have excellent teaching skills, an outstanding research record, an ability to attract research funding and exceptional communication skills to teach large groups in English.
Appointment Type:
Indian Faculty: Full time appointments OR short-term appointment (min for one academic term)
Foreign Faculty: Short-period (One academic term) and for a long-period contract (1 year and more).
Sharda University may offer the following to Foreign Faculty:
- Base salary, US$ 25.000 and above annually, according to academic/research qualifications.
- Free furnished accommodation in secure complex with immediate access to sports facilities and commercial malls.
- Comprehensive Medical insurance coverage upon arrival (this condition applies only for 1+ year period contract).
- Transportation allowance: air ticket on appointment and final departure from India to country of origin.
- A token settlement amount on arrival (this condition applies only for 1+ year period contract)
- Participation in one national level conference.
Living expenses in India are very affordable as compared to North America and Europe.
Indian Faculty willing to return will be offered attractive package much more than any of the premiere institutions in India and substantial higher pay package than UGC scale.
