Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

Details: Beautiful beaches and endless sun..e enjoy the island life. Gen Dou Bilingual Kindergarten and Buxiban in Magong City is looking for a teacher to start in late July or the start of August.
The school environment is friendly and welcoming with great staff and students. There are currently 4 Taiwanese English teachers and two foreign teachers.
The position details:
JOB - 20 teaching hours per week / NT$550-600 per hour
1 year contract
ARC provided
No set office hours (lesson plans in your own time before class)
Working hours are between M-F 2pm-8.30pm / Possibly some odd Saturday mornings
Basic accommodation can be provided on school premises - most teachers opt to live elsewhere
Teachers are required to have:
a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
a passport from either US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
experience working with young people
a professional attitude and open mind
knowledge of teaching
The school is located in the small seaside city of Magong, in Penghu. Magong is the largest city in the Penghu archipelago and you can find everything you need here. The locals are relaxed and friendly and it’s a great place to immerse yourself in Taiwanese culture and language. Not only are Penghu’s pristine beaches and rocky coasts fit for snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, diving and more, it has scores of beautiful islands for you to visit. It is a fairly small place with a lot to offer - please take the time to read about Penghu before you consider applying for this position.
