Details: The International School Ikast-Brande is a brand new school, located in the beautiful Mid Jutland region of Denmark. Having small numbers of children and a highly resourced learning environment, the school aims to become a centre of excellence.
We are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers who can teach across the primary age range and can bring a real enthusiasm to the school. We would particularly welcome applications from teachers who have lots of energy, experience of teaching mixed aged classes and want to make a real difference to the lives of children.
Working within the overall policy of the school the successful candidate will be required to:
• teach children in within the primary age range.
• be prepared to make contributions to staff discussions on curriculum development and other issues relating to the functioning of the school.
Teaching
• The planning and preparation of class work or group work within the general framework and policies of the school.
• Ability to be flexible enough to teach across the Primary curriculum.
• Classroom management and display.
• The identification of children with special needs or are gifted and talented.
• The monitoring, assessment and recording of children’s progress.
• Close co-operation and consultation with other class teachers and the headteacher.
• Effectively co-ordinate a core subject.
