Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus

Details: Unshared, free accommodation close to city. Saturdays and Sundays will be your main
working days. Teach for 20 hours per week at this private English language training
school. Start ASAP. School is located in the seaside city of Rizhao on the east coast of
China. The school is only a 7 yuan short taxi ride to the beach.
Fruit, vegetable and seafood market close by. Well stocked professional shopping
centres within short distance. Excellent bus transportation system and plenty of taxis to
take you wherever you want to go. You will have a Chinese Interpreter for each class, to
assist you in teaching English to the students. Chalkboard, whiteboard, ’big screen’ and
Smartboard usage. A half a day’s class preparation at the school required per week..
Bamboo Forest two bus rides away.
Another big clothing, shoes, food and seafood market within the city about a 9 yuan taxi
ride or 1 to 2 yuan bus ride away. There are many Chinese restaurants in this city, four
KFC’s and at least one McDonalds.
Rizhao has a railway station that connects up to other main city railway stations. Rizhao
also has a main bus station where you can catch a bus to Qingdao (2.5hrs away),
Shanghai (8 hrs away) and other cities. Bookings can be made about a week in advance.
In your apartment, you will receive free internet connection each month. Your apartment
will include a stove, refridgerator, manual washing machine and western toilet. Hot water
system in shower area. School will pay for a certain amount of your electricity and water
each month.
A bus going one way costs 1 yuan (rmb) and a regular taxi going an average distance,
will cost 7 yuan. A teeny-tiny taxi might only cost 3 or 4 yuan going for a very short
distance.
There is a Western Union at one of the post offices here which may charge you around
100 rmb to transfer for example, 3000 rmb overseas. The Bank of China will open a
savings account for you for 1 rmb.
The school has three English language training locations, pretty close to each other. A
short bus ride or taxi can be taken there.
