Details: El Fouad International school is a private school located in Egypt, approximately one hour outside Cairo.
As a result of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Primary and Secondary Teachers (all subject areas) . The Start date is September 2012.
We have a number of vacancies in all subject areas .
Opportunities exist for both graduate and experienced candidates.
We are looking for interested candidates who have:
• A western passport and have English as the first/native language.
• Tertiary qualification from a western university in any learning area in the form of an M.Ed, B.Ed or BA+Diploma of teaching.
• School leadership experience would be an advantage.
• Experience with the design, development and delivery of tailored and successful training CPD programmes would be an advantage.
• Drive, energy and a passion for making a difference.
• Experience with aligning professional standards to performance management evaluations and identifying ongoing training needs.
• The ability to work in a demanding environment and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in the collection, measurement and analysis of data
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• A commercial awareness and experience of working with and meeting key performance indicators
• Excellent spoken and written communication
• Ability to work well with people from various cultural backgrounds
• An openness to embrace a diverse cultural and professional experience
• Fluency in Arabic would be an advantage
Roles and responsibilities will include:
• Developing course content, tools, materials and resources for face to face training.
• Leading the development and application of innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students.
• Delivering a number of intercessional tasks to school leadership across a cluster of schools including classroom observations, coaching and mentoring.
• Leading and participating the design, development and delivery of the academic programme through PoLT.
• Ensuring that course design and delivery comply with the quality standards and relevant professional bodies.
• Developing links with external contacts such as other educational bodies, employers, and professional bodies to foster collaboration.
• Providing academic leadership to those working within the programme, agreeing work plans to ensure that courses are delivered effectively by agreeing objectives and work plans.
• Participating and contributing to the development of the team and individuals through appraisal and performance management.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
