Details: InterPress-International House is looking for EFL professionals in an exciting mountainous location of Almaty and the capital city of Kazakhstan-Astana.There is also a new InterPress school in Taraz city that is not accredited by IHWO yet, but will hopefully be in the future. Excellent local remuneration package offered to the right candidate. Must have CELTA or equivalent, be committed to delivering high quality lessons and focused on self-development. We invite native speakers of English from the USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, UK and Europe to become a part of our team.
InterPress company has been working in the educational sector of Kazakhstan since 1998.
Company has 6 main divisions: Bookselling, Language school, Exams Centre, Teacher Training Centre, Studies Abroad Dept. and Travel agency.
• The half of the classes we have are YL and Young Adult General English classes and the other part of our learners are adults, we also have in-company classes, Exam classes (TOEFL and IELTS), Business English classes and ESP programme. The variety of programmes offered by InterPress-IH provides our teachers with excellent opportunities to grow and develop their skills.
• Professional development: InterPress-IH has a monthly seminar programme. Teachers attend seminars on a variety of EFL topics related to their day-to-day teaching concerns.These seminars are given by the DOS, ADOSes and teachers themselves. Teachers are observed regularly by senior members of staff as part of our ongoing commitment to teacher development. Discounts are given to full-time teachers to take in-house Teacher Training Courses like Exams Preparation Teacher Training course, IHCYLT.

Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate for DOS position for IH Astana schools will be a native English speaker and a DELTA and/or IH DOS Certificate holder, and have at least a year experience in a senior position and teacher training, preferably at an IH School.
Our ideal candidate for ADOS position for IH Almaty schools will be a native speaker and DELTA Certificate holder and have at least a year experience in a senior academic management position preferably at IH School. YL and IELTS Examiner qualification would be an advantage.
Our ideal candidate for ADOS position for InterPress Taraz school will be an experienced native speaker teacher with a CELTA certificate and have at least a year experience in a senior position.
Candidates who have DELTA, YL and IELTS Examiner qualifications will be considered for the position in the first place.
Our ideal candidate for an EFL Teacher position for IH Almaty will be a native speaker with CELTA or equivalent qualification. At least 1 year post-CELTA teaching experience is preferred.
Experience in teaching YL and Exam Preparation (IELTS and TOEFL) is highly preferable, Business English qualification will be an advantage, along with an IELTS Examiner qualification.
Monthly salary (depending on qualifications and experience)
ADOS post – KZT 250 000 (IH Almaty) NET
ADOS post – KZT 200 000 -230 000 (InterPress Taraz) NET
Teacher post - KZT from 180 000 to 210 000(IH Almaty), 210 000-240 000 (IH Astana)- NET
(1 USD currently = approx. 150 KZT).
Compensation:
9 or 12 month contracts for Teacher positions with competitive local salary, a bonus system, visa support, paid accommodation, airfare subsidy, paid holidays and health care.

Ⅲ. Job Description for HS A-Level Psychology Teacher
- Plan and teach lessons following A-level, AP or school-designed curricula that differentiate for individual student needs
- Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching styles.
- Plan with colleagues to deliver effective team teaching when possible.
- Develop assessment tasks following the guidelines and use a wide range of formative assessment tools.
- Supervise extended essays.
- Attend regular curriculum planning and student progress meetings.
- Work closely with the Coordinator to develop concurrency of learning across the senior high.
- Demonstrate a genuine, active interest in on-going professional development, including through participation in professional learning groups in the school, and contribute to Professional Development Programme by sharing recent research or teaching experience.
- Keep up-to-date records of attendance, curriculum, assessment tasks and assessment data.
- Prepare student reports and references, and other reports as required.
- Keep parents informed about student progress.

Ⅲ. Job Description for HS Computer teacher
- Teach AP, A-Level, OSSD or other assigned computer courses.
- Other work as assigned by the Teaching and Research Group.

ⅰ. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Education or the applied teaching position related.
