Time International is a well established private co-educational institution that offers a Cambridge and International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in it’s elementary and primary schools and IGCSE for secondary students.

Teacher’s responsibilities:
To teach children, following schemes of work based on Cambridge Curriculum; creating a productive and demanding learning environment. Must have a true liking for children, and a concern for their welfare and best interests; uses a variety of teaching techniques, establishes positive relationships with students and collaborates with colleagues.
• Create and maintain an emotionally safe, warm, friendly and responsive classroom
• Create an effective environment that motivates, celebrates and reflects the students’ work
• prepare progress reports for his/her students (December, March , June)
• communicate regularly with grade parents regarding the curriculum and individual student needs
• To develop the children’s learning in all aspects of the curriculum
• To produce differentiated tasks for children and those who might require further support
• To set appropriate homework tasks and mark all work thoroughly and
promptly
• Keep accurate attendance records
• To maintain active and excellent relationships with parents, and
encourage open lines of communication through the Communication Book, e‐mail and telephone
• To make sufficient time to meet with parents, to update them on the progress of their children and share with them any concerns
• To monitor the children’s reading books
• To prepare suitable teaching resources
• To use ICT actively as a teaching tool and seek to embed ICT into the curriculum
• To be aware of social or health issues which may affect the children in the class, and take an active interest in their well‐being
• To liaise with the Head of Primary regarding issues of concern
• To participate in the system of duty supervision
• To attend after‐school staff meetings, as and when required
• To occasionally attend out of school hours - tours, as required.
• To participate in the school’s system of extra‐curricular activities
• Any other reasonable task required by the Head of Primary
Education and Experience:
A B.Ed degree, PGCE or equivalent desirable. Teaching experience in a school is a must.
Knowledge and experience working with diverse populations of students and parents, combined with a deep commitment to working within a diverse community and experience in teaching a multicultural curriculum is highly desirable.
Reporting:
Homeroom teachers report to the Principal through the Head of Primary.
