The English Institute is a rapidly expanding English language school located in Budapest,

Position:
The English Institute is seeking qualified native English speakers to fill the role of English
language teacher.
Tasks include teaching English as a second language (ESL) to adults in small group (3-5
students), mini (2 students) and individual (1:1) classes. Course focuses include general
English, business English, and targeted preparation for job interviews, presentations and
negotiations. Courses take place in our modern, high-level language centres in Buda and
Pest, online, and on-site at companies in Budapest.
Requirements:
- internationally recognized ESL teaching qualification (TEFL, etc.),
- at least two to three years of English teaching experience,
- enthusiasm, professionalism, responsibility, and reliability,
- experience teaching business English,
- basic computer literacy.
Advantages:
- experience and willingness to teach learners of all levels (A1-C2),
- experience in exam preparation for internationally recognized language exams such as
TOEFL and IELTS,
- experience teaching English or living or working abroad,
- basic knowledge of and/or experience in business,
- openness to technology and news ways of teaching,
- basic awareness of news, trends, and current events.
What we offer:
- a 12 month contract with a guaranteed, fixed salary,
- premium clientele,

Contract duration: January 2014-January 2015 and February 2014-February 2015 (with a
mutual option to extend).

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
