Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Subject Matter Experts - Biology - Malaysia

Details: This vacancy is for subject matter experts in Biology. The company are looking for experts to assist with writing the material for their e-learning courses at iGCSE and SPM (the Malaysian equivalent to iGCSE). SMEs will work closely with graphic designers and the web team to create accessible e-learning for students.
Position: Subject Matter Expert in Biology
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 40,000 – 60,000 USD per year
Experience: Must have at least a Master’s. BOTH Bachelor degree and Master’s degree must be specifically in Biology or closely related field. Must have 8+ years of classroom teaching experience at secondary level or above.
Contract: 1 year renewable (long term employment possible)
Package: Flights and the start and end of the contract, visa provided, healthcare included

They just won a grant offered by the Government to set up 500 new language centres across Malaysia. When it comes to e-learning, they have no competitors in Malaysia, and they are looking to even further dominate the market here, and in Asia generally.
About the location: They offices are in Bangsar, where they own a huge office complex currently under renovation. Their SME staff sit on floors 3-5, around 7 per subject, and 150 in total. Their staff range in nationality and background – one notable member of staff used to work at NASA,
and is developing great applications for their program.
