Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
3. Contract-end bonus

Details: St Constantine’s International School is a coeducational, day and boarding international school, serving 700 students (including over 80 boarders) from over 40 different countries. It occupies a 35 acre site adjacent to the huge Burka coffee plantation on the edge of the city under the shadow of Mt Meru. Having celebrated its 60th anniversary, it is the second oldest international school in Tanzania. The School has evolved into one of the premier English medium instruction schools of Tanzania. It is now the largest international school in northern Tanzania and is in a strategic phase of development.
Life for teachers in Arusha is relaxed and safe; the cost of living is relatively low and all staff enjoy the many opportunities for regional travel. Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, Kilimanjaro all within 3 hours travel, plus Zanzibar I hour by plane from Arusha Airport. Arusha is the main starting point for tourism in Tanzania.
The School seeks applications from well qualified and experienced teachers having a minimum of three years teaching experience. The School follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum in Primary, Checkpoint in Years 7-9 and IGCSE, AS and A level in Secondary. We also offer BTEC courses in the Sixth Form.
2 year initial contract, free furnished accommodation with domestic assistance on campus, return flights, baggage allowance, medical insurance, free education for up to 2 children.
