MISSION-
The school principal will be in charge of the overall development, implementation and management of iLEAD International School from designing the curriculum and training the teachers, to the epresentation of the school towards parents and various stakeholders. S/he will ensure the smooth running of the school and the delivery of high quality education and services. S/he will be responsible for experiences’ sharing and capacity building of Aide et Action’s community pre-schools located in several provinces of Cambodia.
RESPONSIBILITIES-
The School principal will be responsible for the development and growth of iLEAD International School and all its associated services, and more specifically of the following:
Development and management of iLEAD International School:
Design the school curriculum emphasizing on the holistic development of the children, the pedagogy and teaching methods
Provide leadership in the implementation of the school’s vision, mission , goals
Seek accreditation of the school with appropriate agencies.
Ensure the general safety, care and welfare of the children
Manage the day-to-day operations (including admission, finance and procurement) with a constant objective of high quality education and services
Manage scheduling of classes and teachers
Carry out monitoring, reporting and capitalization of the project’s achievements
Staff management and development
Ensure the teachers’ recruitment, capacity building and performance review.
Develop , maintain effective staff organization , staff competencies to provide sustainable , excellent early childhood education and primary education.
Provide guidance to teachers in areas of curriculum development, teaching approaches, pedagogy, and resources allocation as well as best practices so as to ensure a consistent and holistic learning experience for children.
Encourage teachers to embrace best practices at classroom level.
Train teachers so as for them to become trainers for the community pre-schools’ teachers.
Liaison with parents and various stakeholders
Enhance , maintain relationships with parents, iLEAD International School’s stakeholders , the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
Positively , proactively engage parents in the holistic development of the child.
Ensure the representation of the school and promote its activities, especially in the neighbourhood, so as to increase the enrolment rate.
Professional development with Aide et Action’s community pre-schools:
Contribute to the overall development, implementation and design of ECCE social services
Oversee the training of community pre-schools’ teachers with iLEAD International School’s teachers.
Encourage capacity building and experiences’ sharing between teachers of private kindergarten and community pre-schools
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE-
5 years of experience in managing early childhood and primary schools, retired teacher or school principal preferred
At least three years teaching experience in ECCE
Experience in training of trainers
Proven experience in curriculum review and development

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
