Details: The Academic Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management of teaching staff and students, and ensuring that courses are delivered with maximum quality and efficiency and that students get the most out of their learning experience at ECM.
The job does not entail regular teaching hours but the Academic Coordinator is responsible for covering for teachers who are absent and may be required to teach classes on occasion. The main responsibilities of the Academic Coordinator are managerial and include assessment and class timetabling, assisting in the recruitment and induction of new teachers, organising in-house training, observations, etc as well as level testing and giving inductions to new students.
Degree level qualified with a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification is essential Desirable DELTA (or equivalent)

At least three years teaching experience
Knowledge of ACELS/British Council inspection criteria
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience and strong interest in teacher training and CPD
