Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

ICT and Computer Science Teacher

Details: The European School in Central Asia opened in September 2011 providing an
inclusive European style education accredited with Cambridge International
Examinations and official candidate school for IB Diploma. The school has around
115 students age 2 to 17, with plans in place for expansion up to age 19 and
doubling student numbers.
Responsibilities
1) Develop and implement the ICT and Computer Science education
programme for children age 5 to 16 following the Cambridge International
Examinations approach up to IGCSE level, and IB Diploma (from September
2016) for 16-19 year old.
2) Teach at primary and secondary levels and set appropriate standards for all
levels.
3) Establish and manage all ICT , Computer Science teaching facilities and
ICT facilities for the school as a whole
4) Train staff on the use of ICT resources for education.
5) Develop long term teaching goals for students and enable students to
achieve the goals
Requirements
• Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
• Qualified Teacher or an experienced graduate with equivalent teaching
qualification or experience
• Successful experience as an ICT/Computer Science teacher
• Genuine enjoyment of working with school students and proven ability to
enable a wide range of children to develop their academic and social potential
• Ability to plan strategically, to set and meet deadlines and to implement
plans
Timing and Duration
The position is available starting 20 August 2015. This is a full time long-term
position with an initial contract of three years (subject to 3 months’ probation)
which will be renewable by mutual consent.
