Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

Liyang High School is the best high school in Liyang, Jiangsu Provicne. Our international
department has established for more than five years.We provide both AP and GAC
curriculum.
Location: Liyang is located in Jiangsu, near Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. It is a
small but developing city. Shopping malls nearby, several free parks, and big super
markets such as Carrefour, RT Mart etc. Also Liyang is next to the Tianmu Lake which is
famous for its beauty and fish soup. The price level in Liyang is low, for example, taxi fee
starts from 6RMB.
Benefits: Five weeks summer holiday and three-four weeks winter holiday, and airfare
allowance for one year contract. We also provide school apartment with basic utensils.
To help teachers to get used to the environment, free Chinese classes are given every
week.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively
engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
* Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement.
* Maintain record keeping procedures in accordance with the GAC Operations Manual.
* Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively
engaged in the learning process.
* Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, and colleagues on a
regular basis.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional environment.
* Collaborate with Teacher Aids to instruct on students independent study requirements.
* Maintain professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, colleagues and
visitors to the GAC Centre.
* Assumes responsibility for meeting his/her course and school-wide student
performance goals.
* Participates in teacher training.
* Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines
and honoring schedules prescribed in the 2010 GAC Operations Manual.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.
