NZEC is a kindergarten and afternoon program that caters for Korean and international
children in Songdo, Incheon. The school is owned and operated by a New Zealander. We
are looking for another teacher to come and join our expanding staff.

Contract: 12 months
Pay: 2.0 – 2.5 million won per month depending on qualifications and experience
Housing: single housing and basic furnishings provided by NZEC
Health insurance and pension: 50percent by employee 50percent provided by NZEC
Severance pay: one month’s extra payment at successful completion of contract
Flight: one way flight to Korea provided by NZEC
Teaching hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Kindergarten student ages: 2 – 6 years old (25percent of kindergarten roll are foreign

Kindergarten class size: currently 8 with a maximum of 10 students
Kindergarten hours: 9am to 3pm Mon to Fri
Afternoon student ages: 7 – 12 years old

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands on, and hard working teacher to join our staff.
We have 6 foreign teachers from around the world and 4 Korean teachers.
The school is owned and run by a New Zealander so it is not a stereotypical “hagwon” or
private school.
The school is located in the very popular area of Songdo, Incheon. It is a new eco-tech
city that has been specially designed and built over the past 10 years. There are a lot of
ex pats working in the area as Korean and foreign multi-nationals move into the free
trade zone.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
