Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

English Literature and Language Tutor and Director

Salary: $4,500 USD
Details: Skills Provision is assisting in the recruitment of a full- time English Literature and Language Tutor and Director for our client based in Hong Kong.
These positions offer the opportunity to become part of an organisation which has become renowned for providing one of the highest quality academic services in Hong Kong; thanks to its holistic approach in which students are encouraged to engage and think critically. Thus this provides an exciting opportunity, not only to improve the standard of tuition in Hong Kong but for possible career progression into a management role within the English department.
To be considered for this position you must have as a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in English accompanied by a minimum of three years’ teaching experience, rising to 5 years for the Director’s position (please note applicants whose background is limited to teaching EFL/ESL are unlikely to be successful).
As a result of your previous experience, you must feel confident in teaching a spectrum of English Literature subjects up to 16-18 level (IB Diploma/A Level/DSE) as well as teaching English Language. Furthermore those candidates familiar with tutoring for tests such as SATS and those who are able to teach other subjects are especially invited to apply, and are likely to be at an advantage.
If selected, you will be required to work from 1pm to 8:30pm Monday- Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday’s providing one-on-one tutoring either based at the organisation or at students’ homes.
Those who met the necessary criteria and make it through to the first stage of the selection process will be asked to sit an in-house test (International Tutors Application Test (ITAT). After which you will be asked to demonstrate your student engagement skills and conduct trial lesson(s). Such tests will be conducted on line.
In return for your hard work you will be rewarded by witnessing the students’ achievements and receive an appropriate remuneration package which includes:
A salary in the region of K$30,000-35,000 (which may be individually negotiated to reflect knowledge and experience)
Eligibility for a profit share
Discretionary Bonus
Intensive training and professional development with clear career progression
Visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates.

First months accommodation provided free of charge whilst own accommodation is sought.
