Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Details: *About the school:
We are a K-12 private school, located in downtown Taipei, Taiwan. Many of our students
plan to study abroad. Thus we provide a bilingual (Taiwanese/American) curriculum. In
the bilingual curriculum system, we teach Chinese and math according to Taiwan
government-approved curriculum, while English, social studies and science follow
American curriculum.
*Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferred Master degree in Science Education, Biology, Physical
Science or Chemistry from an accredited college/university.
2. Valid teaching license in Secondary Science Education, Biology, Chemistry or
Physical Science.
3. At least one year of successful full-time experience at an accredited elementary or
secondary school is preferred.
*What we offer:
1. For the 1st year, the contract starts from August 16 to June 30th of the following year.
Should the teacher renew the contract with the School, the salary for July will be
provided.
2. Monthly salary differs according to the teacher’s educational background and teaching
experiences. It begins from NTD$62,720 for the 1st year teacher with a bachelor’s
degree or NTD$69,965 for the 1st year teacher with a master’s degree. In addition,
School will provide an additional NTD$10,000 bonus every month. Every year there is an
approximately annual salary increase of 3%.
3. School will provide performance incentives to the teacher that renews the contract on
the basis of evaluation.
4. School provides fully-furnished apartments for single teachers or housing subsidy.
5. National health insurance is covered.
6. An NTD$50,000 round-trip ticket for the 1st year teacher in Fuhsing.
7. 1 or 2 weeks of vacation during Chinese New Year (late January to early February),
depending on the exact time.
