Details: Adjunct Faculty - Malaysia
Trine University is seeking qualified faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Malaysia
at Trine’s partner university - Putra International College, in Melaka. Our current need is
for individuals experienced in teaching one or more of the following courses: International
Economics, Corporate Finance, and Investments. The courses are taught in eight week
format, October 4 – December 11, 2015.
Requirements:
• US citizen and hold valid passport
• At minimum, Master’s degree in a related academic discipline from a university
where English is the language of instruction
• Prior college teaching experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with teaching international students a plus – courses are taught in
English
• Student-centered philosophy of teaching
• Ability to start September 28, 2015
Position highlights:
• Round-trip airfare provided
• Expenses for room and board provided
• Acclimate students to a Western pedagogical approach and assist them in applying
their English in a real-world settings
Hourly commitment: 45 hours per course/ six hours per week, per course, plus
preparation time.
Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Senior High School (Grade 10-12)
- AP/A-level Biology Teacher

Primary School (Grade 1-5)
- PYP Homeroom Teacher(UOI & ESL)

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.

Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.

Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
