Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Colsubsidio serve students of lower economic status which is guided by a humanistic
approach that seeks the potential of each individual as a human first and the
improvement of their living conditions. We have placements exclusively in Bogotá as a
Co-Teaching experience.

Universidad Cooperativa:
The Universidad Cooperativa is an institution of higher education which currently has
locations in 18 cities and has high academic offerings in seven disciplines.
Start date: June 2016
Duration: 10 months
Financial Compensation: Monthly stipends of 1500000COP
Most programs include a 2 week orientation in Bogotá at the beginning - for this period
accommodation is included, along with an internal flight to the destination of the
placement. Payment is at the end of the month, so for the first month you will need to
finance yourself until the first payment.

Please note:
Some of the programs require a 400USD deposit. This is a fee that is refunded IN FULL
upon completion of the agreed program. This is a requirement of the Colombian
government so that teachers do not leave the program early and thus leave their
