Details: An international school based in Santiago of Chile is seeking a full time Social Studies IGCSE and AS and A Level teacher, with knowledge of British National Curriculum, to begin in March 2024.
The teacher’s senior responsibility is to ensure the success of each student.
The teacher will be expected to participate in a variety of collaborative teams and committees; fulfill supervision duties as assigned, including some evening and weekend events; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues, serve as advisor to a small group of students; and contribute to the co-curricular program.
Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject(s) Student-centered and nurturing personality Commitment to collaborative planning Teacher certification from an accredited university/college Minimum 3 years relevant teaching experience Fluent English speaker with excellent writing skills Flexibility and creativity Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Teaching experience in a multicultural setting Experience teaching children at the lower, middle and/or upper school level Good knowledge of multiple related disciplines Demonstrated skill in differentiating instruction for diverse learners Experience in data analysis and goal setting to improve learning.

Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
