Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations

The Organisation:
Established in 1998 this prestigious pre university residential college specializes in
Cambridge international A level curriculum subjects. Based 70km from Kuala Lumpur in
rural Malaysia, the state of the art campus includes not only excellent educational
facilities such as are air-conditioned classrooms, ten science laboratories, large lecture
theatres, and three IT laboratories with full Internet access; but also the campus comes
equipped with its own tennis, badminton, basketball, netball and Volleyball court as well
as football fields. They have an Olympic size swimming pool and members of the College
are able to use the golf course that adjoins the campus, at preferential rates.
The Role:
Generous teaching hours of around 20 hours per week leaving time to plan lessons get
involved in school activities. You will be required to teach curriculum which is in line with
the school’s specialist 2-year or 18-month Cambridge A level courses.
Students range from 16-20 years old and all attend the college with the expectation to
achieve A* and As and are academically the best students in Malaysia having previously
excelled in their SPM/IGCSE qualifications.
School hours are 8am – 4.15pm Monday-Thursday and 8am – 12.40pm on Fridays.
Requirements:
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• BA(hons) or equivalent in Chemistry/Maths/History/English
• 4 years teaching experience, ideally teaching A Level students or have a good
knowledge of the curriculum.
• Native English speaker from the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland,
South Africa.
• Can commit to a 2 year contract.
Benefits:
• Salary ranging from $2,500 - $4,000 DOE
• Complimentary 3-bedroom apartment based on campus – only pay for bills
• A company KPI bonus of around 1-months salary payable in April each year
• A bonus of 3 x months’ salary upon return for the 2nd year
