Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Required Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Details: English teacher duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes
and the marking of work handed in. On top of this you will also have to arrange any extra
curricular activities and set targets for your students.
Typical work activities
• To develop lesson plans and exams, grade papers, assign readings, facilitate
discussion about English Language and prepare students for standardized tests
• To teach local and foreign students in secondary level – Year 9,10 and 11.
• To deliver high quality learning & teaching to captivate student’s interest
• To participates in extra curricular activities and school development projects
• To assess student’s coursework, set and mark examination paper
• Provide individual help for students as required
• Maintain good order and discipline with your students both inside and outside the
classroom
• Provide a detailed report on each student each term
• Communicate and consult with parents and other persons or agencies outside the
school as required
• Participate in meetings, particularly the weekly department meetings,curriculum
group meetings and any meetings with parents
• Participate in any arrangements for further training and professional development
• Review methods of teaching and programmes of work
• Keep all teacher materials up-to date
• Work closely with the Head of Department and assist with the preparation and
introduction of new courses and schemes of work
• Carry out general duties and responsibilities as deemed reasonable by Time
International School.
Requirements
• Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
with a Teaching Qualification
• Teaching experience in related field
• Must have excellent and high proficiency in English
• Prefer candidates with international experience
• Candidate with IGCSE experience preferred
• Self motivated, initiative and able to meet the deadlines given
• Good presentation and communication skills
• A good health and attendance record
• Possess positive attitude and good interpersonal
