Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Details: Our school is looking for a foreign teacher to start on August 1st, 2020 at our school located
in the southern port city of Ulsan, South Korea. Ulsan is an industrial city, about 20
minutes away from the second largest city in Korea (Busan) by Bullet Train (the KTX)
and about 2 hours away from Busan by bus.
There is a wonderful foreign community in the city and the Korean teachers at this school
are very kind and helpful. There is also a training manual that can help you learn how the
school / classes operate.
Our school has 12 Korean teachers, most of whom speak English quite well, a director
who speaks English quite well, and two other foreign teachers.
School name: Toplus English Academy
Salary: 2.1-2.3 (depending on your previous experience)
Housing is included, although if you prefer to have your own housing then a housing
allowance can be negotiated.
Hours: MWF = 2:30-10:38pm, although classes really run from 3-10:38. Tuesday and
Thursday, 2:30-9:20m, although classes only run from 2:30-8:30pm.
Class size = 1 - 12 students
Vacation days: Standard 10 days (some of which are assigned by the school, the others
you have to book off by talking to the director) + government statutory holidays
Medical is provided (you pay fifty percent and the school pays fifty percent)
One-way ticket to Korea.
Level: Elementary and Middle School students. Elementary students are taught from
3pm-6pm and Middle School students are taught from 6pm-10:38pm
**There is a possibility for paid overtime on the weekends, but this is not a guarantee.
