Ⅲ. Job Description
1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance

Talking works with more than 300 Chinese students for English learning. We are
recruiting tutors from all over
the world providing them with opportunities to teach the Chinese students (from 4th to
12th) English through
online interactive conversations. Talking is an individualized program that adopts one on
one online immersion
topic discussion, intending to develop the students’ oral English communication skills and
critical thinking ability.
Students can choose a topic level tailored to their interests, academic needs, personal
understanding, etc. The
topics range from Passion for learning, Travelling, Interest and Talent to Humor, Satire, &
Irony in the U.S.A.,
Inspirations, Goals and Ambitions, Use of Humor, and so on.
b. Responsibilities
Job Title:
Online English Tutor
Office hour:
50 minutes per session, specific work time adjustable according to the schedule of the
Chinese student and the
tutor.
Teaching form:
Skype, one on one teaching mode
Duties:
1. Hold the online English immersion discussion, aiming to develop the student’s oral
English communication
skills and critical thinking ability.
2. Prepare lesson plans for each session, give evaluation, and design assignments.
3. Choose stable network to ensure the flow of discussion.
4. The tutor shall not change any class schedule or find a substitute for any reason
without prior notification to
the student.
5. The tutor shall begin the online classes on time and shall not pause or leave early.
