Details: Teachers needed for foreign managed training center in Beijing city center. Preparing
students in academic subjects delivered in English such as reading, writing,
mathematics, and science to prepare students for overseas study environment and/or
exchange programs.
New training center with excellent American management, so opportunities for
advancement as the company grows is possible, as well.
Responsibilities:
Teaching courses (students ages from 4-12). Different text and content appropriate
courses depending on the age group (4-6; 6-12)
Plan and conduct day-to-day teaching of courses and other center activities
Develop a teaching plan to ensure the highest quality
Provide appropriate student feedback which will be shared with the parents
Participate in marketing and promotional activities, if requested
Qualifications:
Due to work permit and related visa policies, for China the below conditions must be
considered.
Bachelor’s Degree or above (education, teaching, ESL, etc subject area preferred)
From a country that the Chinese Government considers as a native English speaking
(USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
Holds a TESL/TESOL/TEFL certificate or in progress*
Interest in teaching children and the education industry
Two years or more of work experience*
* There may be specific benefits for education professionals who are a certified teacher
or hold a degree in education
The candidate must be willing to provide other documentation that is required by the
Chinese Government to arrange work permit and visas.
Salary and Benefits:
Schedule would allow for a lot of time off during the workweek. Most full time teachers
would be required to work for just a few hours per day and all day on the weekend. Both
full time and part time teachers are eligible for bonuses depending on their performance
review.
Full time candidates
15,000-20,000 rmb per month with health insurance and paid vacation, as well as an
annual round trip air ticket, and a work visa. Working time is 25-30 hours per week and
evenings and weekends mostly.
Part time candidates
200-300 rmb per hour with flexible schedule depending on the candidate’s availability.
We can only consider part time candidates if you are already legally working in Beijing
due to working laws and policies set by the government.
