Details: Five Stars Academy is a Pre-K to Grade 12 school offering an American-style education
to families interested in living on the Pacific beaches of Panama. Located in Santa Clara
in the Cocle Province of Panama, about 1.5 hours west of Panama City, and within
walking distance to the beach. We provide a personal, hands-on, yet highly academic
program to develop well-rounded students. With more than 25 countries represented at

At FSA, our academic program is rigorous, with more attention given to depth of
understanding than just the gathering of information. With the average class size of 10
students or less to 1 instructor, we are able to maintain high expectations while providing

Five Stars Academy offers a monthly salary of $1,500.00, 2 round trip tickets during the
school year (value of $1400.00), transportation to and from the airport, transportation to
and from school each day (about 5 miles), and a private 2-bedroom apartment in a gated
community that sits directly on the beach and 5 mins walking distance from the
apartment.
We have a student population of less than 75. We are looking to fill the position of
Science Instructor, specifically an instructor able to teach High School Physics or
Chemistry. However, the science curriculum will involve students from Grades 6 all the
way to Grade 11 for the 2017-2018 school year. We are looking for teachers who are
flexible in their teaching and are interested in learning about life in another country.

1. Working Hours: Monday to Friday on a semester basis;
2. Teaching Hours: 22 teaching periods per week;
3. Average Class Size: 20-25;
4. Give Lessons including planning and preparation as well as course development;
5. Conduct course assessment and student academic counseling.
Ⅳ. Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in education or related majors;
2. Native English speaker or English skills equivalent to native level;
3. At least three years teaching experience;
4. Teaching Certificate, PGCE,QTS or equivalent is preferred;
5. Caring, suitable and safe to work with children.
Ⅴ. Compensation & Benefits
1. Monthly salary before tax: RMB 28,000 - 40,000 plus housing allowance
2. Paid winter and summer vacations
